If what you are looking for is a luxury resort that offers a variety of outdoor sports The Homestead is
the place for you. Set in the mountains of Hot Springs, Virginia, the hotel features no less than three
18-hole golf courses, one on the premises (”the Old Course”) and the other two (the “Cascades” and the
“Lower Cascades”) along nearby brooks and open countryside. When you tire of golf (or if don’t play it)
there is always fishing or hiking along scenic trails that the hotel owns or skeetshooting and bowling on the
hotel’s premises. In the evening you can sit back on the hotel’s porch and enjoy a cocktail on an alluring
rocking chair. And if you’re not too tired from the day’s activities, you can dance during dinner to the live
music of the orchestra in the main dining room.
