The Four Seasons Hotel is well
located in the “Pest” district
of Budapest on Roosevelt Ter. Facing the Danube River, just a few
blocks from the city’s main shopping streets. Although only
recently opened as a hotel, it retains the “old world” flavor
of its former identity, the Gresham Palace. Its large, glass-arcaded
lobby, high ceilings and ample public space invite you to stop
for tea in the afternoon or cocktails in the evening while you
are entertained by the hotel’s pianist playing light classics
for your listening pleasure.

recommend Room 312, pictured here, a spacious, comfortable corner
room with views of the Danube and the Chain Bridge crossing it,
which can be seen through its two French doors, and from the
balcony on which they open. |
