Located some 30 minutes from the Nice airport, La Reserve de Beaulieu is our favorite place to stay in the south of France. The hotel offers fabulous dining (dinner at La Reserve’s restaurant is a treat and lunch on the terrace at the edge of the sea is a must) as well as swimming in the heated pool or in the sea, sunbathing and a great spa.  And don’t miss taking a walk along the path around Cape Ferrat, which offers some spectacular views of the Mediterranean. There are two wonderful corner suites at this hotel that have great views of the sea: Shown here is Suite 45, with three small balconies; on the floor below is Suite 5, which has a large terrace on which one can sunbathe or have breakfast while gazing at the sea and the hills of the cape.
